Are you fluent in English and another language and looking for a new career?
Found
in Translation is now accepting applications to its 2020 Language
Access Fellowship program. The fellowship includes a 20-week Medical
Interpreter Certificate training for low-income bilingual women in Boston area, followed by ongoing professional
development, job search support and opportunities for direct job
placements.
Use your bilingual skills to earn $20 to $40 per hour and give a voice
to patients who are not proficient in English.
The program is free of charge and includes
supports such as on-site childcare, transportation assistance,
mentoring, career coaching, financial literacy education, job search
assistance, job placement, and more.
Classes take place weekday evenings, August to December 2020.
